Are you raising a Man or a Beast?

When the doctor came out of the operation theater and announced, "It's a Boy" many faces lit up and cheered but the same faces didn't lit up an year later, when the announcement was " You are blessed with a baby girl."

And since that day the child was constantly reminded of the ill-fate she has brought to the family. She was denied the luxuries her brother was given and was often scolded when she raised the subject of partiality and injustice.

But she didn't give up, she fought and fought until she came face to face with the monster her own family has created. One night her brother returned home drunk with some of his friends and as soon as she opened the door the beasts pounded on her as if she was just a piece of flesh thrown in front of them to satisfy their hunger. She cried for help but no one came to her rescue. And this became her fate from the day thereafter.

Threatened  by the Beast that she will lose her life if she uttered a word about her ordeal to anyone, still she mustered enough courage to approach her own mother and sought her help. She was immediately suggested to keep her mouth shut if she wanted to survive, and do not discuss the matter with anyone as it would bring shame and dishonor to the family.
Some other terror filled nights followed after her first ordeal and then came a day, when she had nothing left to offer anyone as she was found brutally murdered in the corn fields. The first one to give a statement on the matter was the same Beast  which made her suffer and regret the day she was born.

The next day all read the headlines, " 18 Year old girl's naked body found in the corn field " the story contained words like love triangle, dishonor, eloping and the tragedy leaving the family shattered and ashamed of their own upbringing. The Beast was not the prime suspect but the girl who died became characterless over the night.

No one  was arrested and no one punished but the one who died. People passed comments such as that is what she deserved, she should not have fallen in love with two men, she was a whore and got her payback for being such.

So many innocent girls die because the proud mothers are so busy teaching their sons that they are a superior being. They can do anything, anytime and still they will be loved and respected cause it is their birthright.

Nothing will change until and unless we change the definition of Man, the mentality of Indians towards such things and the laws which punish the ones in question. Stop treating girls like a machine for reproduction and the pound of flesh necessary to fulfill your hunger, They are far more than that and every now and then they have proved their worth. Don't forget you won't be here if it weren't for her. And to all the mothers out there who have a son and a daughter, if you tell your daughter not to wear short clothes coz it might mark her as characterless then you should also tell your son that he should never have been born and put a bullet in his head at the same time.

Change will come only when we start changing ourselves. So are you ready to be the change you want to see?

It is high time each mother should ask this question to herself, " Are they really raising a Man worthy of such praise or just a Beast worthy of disgrace? "

I bleed Love

Sometimes I bleed, O I bleed Love
You can take all you want, but the memories are stuck
And in those memories I find a reason to smile.....I know we have not been together and its been a while
Still your melody my heart sings, still ur whispers are brought by the winds
Yes Sometimes I bleed, O I bleed Love
u can take my life in return still it is not a payment enough

Thoughts of a Restless Mind

Why is it so difficult to express oneself sometimes?
We are living in this ruthless world where there is no peace,no love and no feelings left. Everyone is trying to win this race of sophistication and power, but they are not aware of the fact that while running towards their destination they have left behind many people who could have even given their lives for them.
Life has become so complicated that people find it very convenient  to break any relationship whenever they want just for their own benefit. They never think about the feelings of the other person, not even once.
The biggest tragedy is that people are so blind-folded with money that they don't even give any respect to the love of their family, friends & beloved.
People give away all they have for what they want .Why can't it be that people remain happy with what they have and try to get what they want with the help of what they already have?
Nobody can give answer to these questions. But still in some corner of my mind these questions arise and all I can do is to share it with you ....The Thoughts of a Restless mind.

We are generation Next.

They say the world is advancing day by day and so are the people, but are the people really as advanced as they ought to be?
I have recently shifted back to my hometown from NCR. I don't know if it is just me or others also have the same pattern of thoughts that I have when I see, Generation Next. Very aptly given the title, THE INTERNET GENERATION. My heart really cries when I see them, as when we were kids we wondered how being this cool would be like, and what they turned out to be is really pathetic. I am happy that we only dreamed of it while we had all the fun stuff to actually do.
You can see them more engrossed in gadgets than books. Forgotten how it feels like playing a real cricket match or for that matter any game coz they are competing with their virtual counterparts day in day out.
Popularity for them now means having endless people connected on Facebook ( more apt name FAKEBOOK) and no. of likes on their photos. Hukkas, cigarettes , drinks, pub , discos, expensive clothes  & gadgets have become their way of showing off how advanced and high society they are. No matter which lounge you enter, you can see a bunch of school going kids dressed in attires which we had to earn by being exceptionally well behaved and deserving in our times.
Now it's just skin showing skimpy dresses, excessive use of hair products , funky accessories which can makes you hip and happening. Kids these days have access to everything very easily but if we see to it, are they making good use of the resources?
When we were in school watching an 'A' grade movie was considered bad by our parents and society, but now all the movies are of such type and who checks the ID proof while giving the tickets, same goes for serving drinks and other alcoholic ecstasies. There are laws made but Gen Next's upbringing is such that breaking the law has become their habit.
Yes  some kids are an exception but then who talks about them. If you come back from a big city then they assume you do all the things they think you do. The pain is unbearable when you try to convince them that what they are doing is wrong, they will keep defending themselves and god they are too good at it.
Who is to be blamed?
The parents who think giving money to the kids instead of love and time is more easy....
or
The kids who think by acting above their age and not enjoying the childhood days they will be more prepared for the days to come.
I have talked with a few and seriously they have no insight whatsoever about LIFE.... They are confused, don't know what they want to do and where to begin or infact when to stop and say its enough.
They always want more.....More money, more fame, more love, more intoxication.... what they don't know is that excess of anything is harmful.
Will they learn with time or will they change the time for once and for all?
If being stupid, drunkard, snotty, snobbish and doing things which you should be doing after 20 years from now is considered advanced , then I would give anything to be backward.
Generation Next is the future they say, I say if this is the future than let there be no future at all.

The Jest of Life

Pondering over the jest of life....I came across the truth we despise
Life is just like that lovely wife....Beautiful from outside but hollow inside...
Sometimes it gives us all the reason to rejoice but takes away instantly what is our legal right.....
It keeps us awake even in the night and asks us to give it all we have even if its our own pride.....
Everyone wants it to be theirs....those lovely eyes and beautiful hairs...they don't know these are just traps to lure....once we catch this disease there is no cure....
The Wife with which its difficult to cope but without it also there is no hope....
Pondering over the jest of life....I came across the truth we despise
Life is just like that lovely wife....Beautiful from outside but hollow inside...

Are we Independent?

First of all advance Independence day wishes to all. People are seen in high national spirit this month.
But the question which I want to ask is,"Are we really Independent? Is Dictatorship a thing of the past? Are we allowed to use all our fundamental rights? Are the days when we were exploited by Foreigners over? "

The World is a very gruesome place to live in. People have started believing that either we kill or they kill us. Our Country may have been released from the clutches of Foreigners but our minds are still in the grasp of pathetic and disgusting thoughts of treating others with disgrace and showing Oneself as superior.

Recently I have been part of this organization which is in the business of Human Capital. My thoughts when I joined were, the policies would be ethical and just. As this is what HR is all about, People and their rights. But not only it disgraced the facts but also made it on top of my list of The Worst place to work at.

Now you might think that this is only my individual opinion and I am saying all this just because I have some personal grudge against it. But the reality is it treats most of its employees as slaves, well most companies think like that so what's new you ask?

But if you are a businessman and you are trusting someone with the task of sourcing your Human capital then you should check first that what kind of people you are dealing with. Can you trust someone who has no ethics, no policies, no sense of responsibility at all.

They change their policies to suit their needs. They terminate an employee due to some personal grudge of Boss's pet and change their policy so they can torment the already tormented employee. Gulp their salaries and make up for the business losses which they faced due to their own inability to fulfil the tasks at hand.

What is expected from a CEO is that he remains unbiased and listen to an employee's grieves, why the CEO you ask cause normally it is the task of the HR personnel to do that. The company has no HR personnel of its own and they have the guts to offer help to HR personnel of big MNC's. Funny it appeared to me, don't know about you.

The CEO like a dictator rules over the company and treat everybody as his slaves. It is said that you have to earn Respect, but here respect is demanded forcibly and on not giving the same you are sacked.

You still think that you can trust these people with a task be it any, it's time to wake up. These type of practices should be boycotted. Employees should be treated like humans and not like machines. The time has come to show Companies and CEO's like these that their days of dictatorship are coming to an end.

Would like to quote a dialogue from a recent flick here, "Never Under Estimate The Power of A Common Man... "

So ask yourself this question now are we really free or independent? Do we have the genuine reason to celebrate the Independence Day? Are we just fooling ourselves by trusting some blindly?

Do we really know Who should be trusted? The answer lies with You. Are You ready to be the Change. I know I am.

A Salute

All the love is never lost....A light of hope makes you forget the past
But somethings are never forgotten....Hearts turn to stone and there is nothing to soften
What happened with the girls in pain....nothing in this world can stop the tears rain
We all say that we know how it felt.....we all cry within our heart's actually melt
We say we will fight for them till the end....But soon we forget and that is the trend
For they keep on living their lives in horror and distress....there is no one left who even claim to take them as their mistress
Days, months and year go by....then we hear another incident similar to it and again we pry
What can be done to actually reduce their pain.....not to make them a talking stuff and make their life disdain
If you really want to change something...Change yourself.....Coz somebody wise once said this out loud........You cannot change anything until and unless you be the change and stand out
All the love is never lost....A light of hope makes you forget the past
But somethings are never forgotten....Hearts turn to stone and there is nothing to soften

A salute to all the brave-hearts who lived n fight for a cause.....

A Walk Down the Memory Lane

Walking down the memory lane, I found some chapters very lame
The people who just came n went, Their happy thoughts n joyful scent
In my life they would have been present,If they just never forced me to bent
To bent in front of their beliefs n thoughts,I remember all those fights we fought
I may stand alone today, I may wander here & there like a stray
But I stand with my head held high...I have m
y self respect n it won't die
My energy will never dry, n my patience never runs out just give it a try
People who loved to see me cry..just keep distance coz I will fry ....
Fry your brains if you don't stop pushing me far.... Just wait n watch as I become a shinning Star
Walking down the memory lane, I found some chapters very lame
The people who just came n went, Their happy thoughts n joyful scent
